Tropea Communities Honored
with Five Pyramid Awards
Glen Mills, Pa. –
(4/25/05) – Tropea Communities has been honored
with five Pyramid Awards from the Home Builders Association
of Delaware and Chester Counties. Now in its 16th year, the
Pyramid Awards program recognizes excellence in building design
and construction, community management, marketing and sales
by area builders. Winners are chosen from among hundreds of
entries annually.
Tropea Communities was recognized for excellence
in all major areas of the competition. The Woods at Edges
Mill, a Tropea community in Downingtown, Pa., was named Community
of the Year for communities under $300,000. The community
was recognized for its beautiful home designs, outstanding
space planning and excellent location.
Project Manager Chris Tropea was honored as
Project Manager of the Year for his ingenuity in overcoming
challenges and bringing numerous projects successfully to
completion. The award also recognized Chris’ skill in
developing internal technologies and systems to streamline
production operations.
The Tropea organization was also awarded for
excellence in sales and marketing. Tropea Communities’
Julie Combs and Todd Reed were honored as Multi Million Dollar
Winners for their success in achieving new home sales of more
than $3 million. The Best Builder Brochure award was given
to Tropea Communities for the design and effectiveness of
the company’s new capabilities brochure. Additionally,
the company claimed top honors for Best Use of New Media for
the music and graphics used in the introduction to www.tropeacommunities.com,
the company website.
Tropea Communities also received the Home Builders
Association Sponsorship Award for their support of the association
and its programs.
